Warney back in the Sky box for this match thank god ... he is such a good analyst - could listen to him all day.
Agreed. Must admit I'm also looking forward to seeing him suck up a bit of Crim bashing. Have to say Strauss' analysis is spot-on and interesting as well.

Trott is busy continuing to bury the armchair critics regarding the pacing of his innings.

I think we should pick a Middx County Game at Lords - cheap to get in, can take your own booze etc
Surely we should slum it in a Walkabout during an Ashes match? Spend the afternoon getting sloshed on cheap booze whilst progressively getting more and more abusive to the Crim barstaff?!

Ian Bell. One of England's all time greats. Check out those stats. Will have surpassed Boycs ton record by the time we drill the crims over there.

Aussie look top class this morning, this pair look a very settled opening partnership

Expect a long day chasin leather, I'd be amazed if they don't get a couple of hundred up.

It's 'wonder'.

Speaking of which. Anyone else 'wondering' where our pet crim has gone?

Good test match batting this morning, we'll be beyond reach by lunch (if we're not there already). I'd say bat til about 5pm if possible then give them an hour and a half to face tonight.

It's only day three, no need to rush.
hehe

At 5pm I'm figuring on a lead of 450+, so on that basis, why wait?

Because the longer they are in the field, the more batting practice our top lower order get and the more likely the aussies are to pick up some injuries.
I will confess I'm influenced by the possibility I'd heard of there being some weather around on Monday.

That said, it would still make sense to put them in tonight.

Guys, we don't need to cut and paste commentary/text every 5 mins or when two runs have been scored.

He'll figure out what's going on from general chit chat.

Cheers.

I hate it when those ones go to replay. Always look worse in slo-mo.
