If Floyd fights Broner, then Khan deserves a chance too IMO.

Floyd wont fight Mayweather again, gurantee it.

Also deep down Floyd wants to be loved so you can be sure he loves his legacy as much as his money.
I think that is wrong

He will have his 49th and relinquish his belts then agree to a money making decider with pacquiao to settle the argument.

In 12 months time fans with be back to fever pitch and the cash tills will be overflowing

I can't for the life of me figure out why Manny would fight injured...just pull the plug!
I'd imagine there was a pretty hefty penalty clause in the contract to stop that happening.

.....oh, and on another note, is there any truth in the rumour that carl froch apparently fought in front of 80,000 fans at wembley?? i seem to recall someone mentioning it somewhere in all the build up to maypac but i'm not sure.................
hehelaugh

That was PROPER cringe...
i found it funny at first..after about 20 times i was getting right proper pissed off with him!
Not only that, by his own admission, it was his fight. Groves wouldn't have expected anything less of course in terms of recognition of his contribution, but I bet Matchroom were blcensoreddy delighted...

Also, if Sir Henry Cooper was tuning in from his celestial home, he might have been surprised to learn that partaking in a boxing event at Wembley Stadium was 'unprecedented'...
Hopefully, you'll enjoy thisbiggrin

Not going to happen!

September will be Mayweather's last fight; he has been giving hints of retiring over the last 12 months but has to fulfill his 6 fight Showtime contract; which will finish after 1 more fight penciled in for September.

If it is about legacy, if I was Mayweather, I'd take on Kell Brook (as long as he still has his belt) as his last fight and retire by unifying the division with ALL the belts.

But I don't think this will happen because Kell is not known in the US and Mayweather won't get this guaranteed purse.

Who knows! The Showtime contract ends in January 2016 or after he fights his 6th fight, whichever comes sooner. God knows what goes on in his mind so perhaps he takes a fight in September and wins and then perhaps fights one final fight out of his contract against Pacquiao next May and retires on 50-0. We can only wait and see...

Mayweather said that he wants to finish before Christmas, hence why his 6th and final fight will be in September rather than in January when the deal officially ends.

I think he'll fight Khan. And humiliate him

I would imagine it wouldn't be a Khan fight in September. He has Ramadan and won't have enough time to fully train.

I hope it's not Khan, but Khan has already said that Ramadan isn't a problem this year.

I want to see Khan vs Brook towards the end of this year.

I can't see who else Mayweather would fight- I suppose Garcia is an option, albeit a boring option.

Bingo! It's not as if Mayweather has a blemish-free record in doing exactly what he says he'll do. hehe

Can't see Garcia moving to 147 & losing his '0'!

I could. His last fight was against fellow Light Welterweight world champion Lamont Peterson but was taken at a catchweight of 144lbs (so not a unification fight) - seems an odd thing to do unless one or other was looking to step up. Add that to the rumours going around about Mayweather/Garcia...

Of course, that's not to say it's a nailed-on certainty - just ask Amir Khan or Devon Alexander - but certainly within the realms of possibility.
