Yes, charity (not community) shield. It'll always be Charity Shield to me the same as they'll always be linesmen. biggrin

Anyone care to predict the outcome of Man U v. Chelsea ?

I think we'll see quite strong squads playing for this but I think the game might be at 60% pace compared to a league encounter.

Anyway, great to see the fixture so close as it means we're just round the corner from the season start. clap

Chelsea 1-0, Shevchenko comes on a sub in the 114th minute and scrambles home a van der sar parry.

Think it might be a bit more exciting than the fa cup final. Keen to see the new signings, Nanny, Clive Anderson, Florent sinema Malouda and Claudio Pizza hut.

It would certainly struggle to be less so.

Be quite nice if Rooney nuts fat arse Lampard, Lampard breaks Ronaldo's legs. Both get suspended til after Xmas and Ronaldo sidelined for season. Petra Cech nuts the crossbar, out for weeks and Ferguson chins Mourinho, both banned from managing for 3 months.
Then Rafa and the brilliant Reds may have a chance of the Premiership!!!
Otherwise who gives a flying ****

Indeed!
And the shoot out win makes up for that push on Vidic in the 'box.

Altogether now....

Yet, somehow, it managed the feat.

I thought it was OK considering Chelsea are boring in style and to watch against United.

2 really good goals during the game and some injuries picked up by Chelsea. Good day if you ask me. smile
