Yes the scrambler is not one of the simple ones and requires a trigger to transmit. It only activates once a detector has been triggered. It does send out a signal more powerful than a regular radar return that forces it to lock. You can specifiy what the radar will read and it works well against unmanned radar. For manned radar however even I can tell the difference between 60 and 160mph with the eye and it won't help you there. If the distance was great and you were the only one on the road and got hit it is designed to give you enough time to slow down as in the case of instant on radar as in going a 100 to drop to 60-70mph. I don't know if these people have a web site but I will inquire as the company is located just outside of Minneapolis, MN in a town called Burnsville about 10 miles from my house. I tried to buy one at the factory and was told the devices are only for export as they had a order not to sell locally.

If you can find out more it would be great. I'll get two, one for you one for me, and then ship yours back to you, so that way they sold them both overseas and you'll be th eonly man in the US with one

Well here is the info on the Jammer.
www.remotesystems.com/company.htm
They have been around a while and are under increasing pressure from Law enforcment and goverment agencies to halt production. It works well. This is one of the original companies to offer jammers. It can also be used to bump someones speed up so they get a ticket. Let us say there was someone you did not get along with and you followed this person on a known speed trap hwy. you stayed behind him with the jammer speed cranked up into ticket range. The camera would flash him and you would turn off or dial down the jammers as you pass by. Totally evil thing to do, but it has happened. Now there are many jammers that do not work at all or are worthless as per tests.

ANT1 & CO, the Sydney SE dude is me, and yep, my real name is Reeves (thanks for the nice words anthony). Actually, in a odd way in Australia's biggest city, my fiancee used to see anthony's black beauty driving to work every morning over the Sydney Harbour bridge (pre-accident!)

On the topic of radar detectors, andecorp, I have a Valentine 1 which is very good (and calvin is right you gotta hit 150mph at least once.... per week... )

umm.. but I recently have been busted twice at 87mph in a 75 zone... (137kph in 110zone for the ozzies)- 12 hours apart.. (return journey!)

Even good detectors do not save you from "instant on" technique from hidden/parked patrol cars....

I need that scrambler!!
