Guy,
I am located right in the middle of the country in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota. My driving season will come to an end soon as the fall season will soon pass. Last evening I took a nice drive along the winding river valleys. The club fall tour along the hilly dairy roads and the river valleys of the Mississippi is the last organized run of the year. Then it is a matter of few weeks till the snow flies and the Lotus goes into storage for it's hibernation. I am quite active on the turbo Esprit list and email a lot of Lotus people in your area. The LA club is very strong, So are the SF people. There is some sort of West coast gathering taking place. I don't know if it is as large as LOG, but I have heard it is still a very good time from the guys.

Guy,
I have been known to watch the game. But our team sucks, I can not bear to watch them play. My kids are the same age as Gary Anderson's (Vikings kicker) kids and used to go to school as them. My 90 Esprit was owned by Mark Higgs (Higgy) former running back of the Miami Dolphins during the Marino years of the early 90's and I met him and bought the car from him at his Ft. Lauderdale home.

This will be the second time I have taken my car to a lotus event. In the 12 years we have had the car.

Calvin,
I put Blackie up today. Over the winter I plan on fitting her with driving lights inside the spoiler on a separate circut should my pod's fail at night.
I'm also going to work on the other problem of them not raising from the headlamp swith. I tought I fixed that, but the problem still exists and have a new switch to try. My original switch isn't very good which makes me think this is the problem with mine. When I rebuilt my bin, I took the switch apart, cleaned the contacts, flipped a worn blade and they worked fine every time... until inspection when they wouldn't rise. I found if I put them in flash, they come up, and switch the headlamp switch from off to lamps, they stay up. I'll let you know what I find out but it isn't going to be for some time.
