An Invitation to Current and Future Esprit Owners
from
Lotus Ltd., North America's Largest Lotus Car Club

With the end of the Esprit just months away, it is our goal is to make Lotus Ltd. the club of choice for all Lotus owners in North America. With this in mind Lotus Ltd. cordially invites all current and future Esprit owners to join us.

It is our hope that with Lotus Ltd.'s 30 years of Lotus car club experience and history, as North America's largest Lotus car club, you will feel we are your club of choice. We are very much interested in what you would like to see for benefits and programs centering on your Lotus. Please let us know. We welcome you with open arms and look forward to your active participation.

Although we are not car specific, Lotus Ltd. and our monthly publication ReMarque have been sadly anticipating the demise of the Esprit. We recognize there may even be new Lotus owners not be familiar with Lotus's rich racing and engineering heritage or previous road models. It is our hope we can provide some exposure to that part of Lotus history to enhance your Esprit ownership.

Many of the updates in member benefits and programs
instituted the last year, and those we are working on for the future are with Esprit owners, like you, in mind. Lotus Ltd. will continue to be the place to get the most accurate and up to date new information for all things Lotus.

We anticipate there will be more interest in track
days and auto cross activity which Lotus Ltd. has
experience in providing. Not to mention Lotus Ltd.'s annual LOG [Lotus Owner Gathering] where you
have the opportunity to spend a long weekend of fun
filled activities with other Lotus owners and their cars from all over the country. Tech sessions,
auto cross, track day, guest speakers from Group
Lotus and world famous motoring legends form Lotus' past.

Take a look at the Lotus Ltd. (www.LotusCarClub.org)website if you are not familiar with us where you will also find information on joining us. You will also find a listing of local affiliated groups which keeps growing in numbers and membership. If there is not a local affiliate group in your area, Lotus Ltd. will gladly assist you, as a Lotus Ltd. member, in starting one if you wish.

I think you can see we have the same interest at
Lotus Ltd. as you desire from a Lotus car club as a new Lotus Esprit owner. We hope you will join us
for the ride of a life time in your new Lotus.

- Owner 2002 Lotus Esprit V8

Hey Mark,
I see you have finally posted on this site. I have been posting here for a while and it is more like the turbo list used to be a while ago before it got too large. Some of those people are different from the old timers, some even post under different screen names at times. Oh I still post on the Turbo Esprit list just not as often. Visit often as you can offer insite or another point of view.

Calvin

PS To forum readers Mark is the president of the St. Louis Lotus club and is affiliated with the national club. He is very well respected and has owned 4 Esprit's in the time I have known him, from the N/A S2 to the V8.

And what a great bunch of guys you are too.
Being back in Ireland I'm spoiled for choice between the S1 or S2 (assuming I quit being a bum so I can pay for one of course). Then again you guys get all the nice HP.

I have to say that Lotus ltd. and the LOG even every year is fantastic, especially as I could go there the first time on my own and fit right in with the other nut cases (Like a Lotus owners personal Disneyland). Small tip though, steer clear of the folks with too much 'flair' (pins, badges etc.) unless you really do want to know the bore/stroke of an '82 Lotus Excel!

Roy, Mark, et al, if you're over this side of the pond give us a shout,

two thumbs up!

michael.

I did indeed! She said yes; that she did want a coke with the happy meal at McD's

Er, no. There were no major questions on that trip, nor are there plans afoot, but rest asured you and everyone on Pistonheads will be the first to know.

If you paid more attention to your portfolio than my love life you'd be much better off
