Great event and turnout at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire (UK) today, shame about the showers, thought I'd share some of the Lotus pics...

Hi Rob,

No probs. I hadn't been before so I wasn't sure what to expect, and I definately didn't expect to see so many Esprit's Hopefully mine will be there next year!

Maybe next time we'll meet.

Brent, sorry I missed you! I've had a bad weekend and nearly didn't make it. I had to rewire my car to remove my alarm and seperate imobiliser.
Yes mine's the Norfolk Mustard one.

Paul - I love the pics of your Esprit!! Man, white is where its at for me. When it comes time I will search for months looking for a good white Esprit before settling with anything else!!

Wow, nice pictures!!!

Really enjoyed those immensely. The Esprits all looked great and seeing this just made my day.

Alan Croft, your white Esprit looks hot! Where did you get that lower front extension for your front spoiler? I've never seen a non-SE with something like that before. Is it an aftermarket piece or did you make it yourself?

I love white. My pearl white Esprit finally came out of the bodyshop last week. Shimmers like crystal in the night, in the dark.

Roy,

I actually made the part myself. I didn't want the black version from the sport 300 (and wasn't sure it would fit). No one else did anything so I fabricated it. I got the raw materials from a friend so apart from my time and some screws to fit it, it's the cheapest mod I've done.

You made it yourself? Wow, I'm really impressed! You did a great job on that. By the way, was the material stiff rubber or a rigid plastic/fiberglas?

Looks great!

Roy,

It's a rigid plastic section. I got an L piece and cut grooyes in to get it round the corners. I was only limited as to how low to have it by the slight ridge to get into my garage. With the plastic already being white it didn't need painting either. It has ground out a couple of times on speed ramps and dips but so far no damage.

Cheers

Alan,

That's quite ingenius and you didn't even have to paint it. Simple, lightweight, and didn't cost much either. Colin Chapman would be proud!
