cant wait finish work on the wednesday do 4 days at festival then 3 days later go to usa for 10 day holiday then week off when i get back, might need it to edit photos, still havent finished last years fos pics. will be even more excited when i get the tickets

Well it sure as hell wont be me based on that...I live about 45 minutes away.... and the Mrs is not too keen on getting there at the crack of dawn...

Out of interest has anyone got thier tickets through yet? Or when do they send them out. Its just I was cleaning out the car and found last years tickets in the glovebox and they were sent out on the 15th of April.

If I could justify such an early start to the Mrs., I would suggest meeting up and travelling down together (from Sandhurst)

That is serious commitment. We're driving down from Yorkshire on the Thursday night so will likely be up at 6.00am to be there for 7.30am. That's early enough for an old man like me. Love the roads around there though, it's worth an early start to get a clean run at it.

More crucially, who's taken a week off work and is hopping over to France for the Le Mans Classic the following weekend? I've always missed it due to the FoS clash in previous years so this is my first time. Can't wait!

Worth it though. If you leave an hour later my end, you'll be 2 hours later getting in (if that makes sense ?) due to more traffic. We use to have to catch a ferry from the Isle Of Wight every year . This will be my 16th year (i think!). So, what's everyone looking forward to seeing?.

I've been fortunate enough to do every day since 1994 so does that make it, 17th? Well, whatever, it is still a mighty spectacle. I haven't even checked to see what's going on this year - fill me in. We're very fortunate that we have family within a few blissful miles of the estate so an early morning blast down some glorious roads for 30mins is a great way to start the weekend!
