Isn't it amazing how so many do nothing but moan, it's a fab event and consistently draws an exceptional range of cars and it's still free to get in. I was gutted that a recent hospital visit meant I had to miss it for the first time in 5 years. It's been well documented it's a very busy event for a long time, if you don't like it, don't go.

Let's hear some more positivity mad see some more pics of what I missed....

It was busy but still easy to get around and look at what took your interest. Not many places where you can see a couple of F1's, 220's, Enzo, Zonda and CCR all in one place, and if you were lucky like me travel back home with the last 2 in my poor attempt of a supercar (V8 Vantage)!
It is subjective to many what is a supercar. To be fair, those people that turn up in MPV's etc probably think all Porsche's and Astons are supercars, so be it. It was nice to hear nice comments when it relates to your own car so i for one enjoyed the format.

Right, just to let everyone know. For the rest of this discussion on Pistonheads, anyone who complains about "oh that wasn't a supercar blah blah" owes me a pound.

I reckon I'll be able to retire in 48hrs.

By the way, my highlight was this lovely BMW bike, I didn't even know they made it!

I'm definitely not moaning! It was an awesome Breakfast Club. Busiest I've seen, but I arrived and left with barely any queueing, surrounded by interesting cars of both the super and non-super varieties.

It was a great morning. Just needs renaming to something like "Interesting Car Day"

Alex, that's not fair, please find something to moan about so you have to send me a quid (-: Glad you had a great day, I loved every minute of it.

It is a brilliant event. FREE aswell. But I prefer the older cars..... wink For me, the Aston Martin DB5's and the Jaguar E-Type's were my favourite

My Son got a photo of that! I did wonder what it was about?, thought the car had been vandalised.

I Love these events but my Body clock does not, I had to go back to bed for a couple of hours after returning home frown

It was like the Festival of speed, I've never seen so many people!

VERY WELL ORGINISED AND A BIG THANKS TO THE MARSHALS WHO GAVE UP THEIR DAY.

They're getting great reviews, there's a long waiting list, and yet there were 3 or 4 of them at Goodwood today.

And all those people watched the world through a viewfinder laugh

I can get some super Hi Res pics of that from GF WILLIAMS page. Far better than any of those people in the pic can get from their camera phones.

Surely it's better you actually drink in the cars and their details/noise/ambience when you are actually confronted by 2 of them in real life. confused

Completely agree, most people seem to live their life through a lens, missing out on what they've actually come to see!

I cannot believe people are still complaining about this event. We all know what its like, too busy, too many of cars that are certaily not Supercars. So if you don't like it don't go! The scale of the event is what makes it so special. I saw one young lad running around telling anybody who would listen that it was the best day of his life. It's these kids that will continue our passion for cars not those who believe that Supercars should soley be the domain of the priviledged. Thankyou to the Goodwood team for continuing the Breakfast clubs...remember everyone...they are free clap

This ^^^^ 100%.

I kept imagining whoever had won the £71 million on Friday was wandering up and down going,
"That's nice, I'll have that one...... no that's nice, I'll have that one......no that's nice, I'll have that one......no that's nice, I'll have that one......no that's nice, I'll have that one...... no that's nice, I'll have that one......no that's nice, I'll have that one......no that's nice, I'll have that one......no that's nice, I'll have that one......,"

Basically until his head exploded! smile

Of course a quick bit of maths when he got to the F1GTRs and he would realise to buy both of those would take close to half his winnings.. yikes

Great event & extremely well organised by Goodwood staff. Many thanks, great day. A real mix of cars which was great. I might have missed or, one wasn't in attendance - Miura, the Daddy of all "Supercars" IMO. Given how busy it was (which is to be expected given the theme), the Goodwood staff did an amazing job today
