Got as far as Wisley. Services car park and Little Chef not quite what was planned, but good to meet a few people anyway.

Shame it looks like not everyone today got home in as good shape as they began frown

Got to to within 10 miles of Goodwood!

I have a question for Guildford and West Sussex Councils...

WHY DIDN'T YOU BLOODY GRIT THE ROADS LAST NIGHT? mad

...neither the A3(M) nor the A roads were gritted - the amount of cars rolling backwards down hills due to lack of traction this morning!

One of our lot actually phoned the council and asked when they were planning to grit the A3 as it was so dangerous.

The response?

You're not going to believe this.

'We have to await confirmation from the Met Office that it is snowing.'

the road that heads north past the Racecourse was blocked/closed following a pile up at the bottom of the huge hill just as it joins the A286 just before Singleton. Further up the A286 just after Midhurst cars were struggling to get up the hill!
Real shame, there were some fantastic cars there. Just glad I didn't take my P&J

We made it to Guildford, you can just about make the car out in John's pic, but when we tried to head down to Goodwood the weather really closed in and we gave up had an interesting if a little hairy drive back home but got here all in one piece.

Trust everyone else got back OK?

Seriously..hats off to everyone that made it, especially to the crazy sods that popped down in Caterhams/Westfields & that Atom. Balls of steel, or in this case, probably ice.
