Here's my limited selection, I was mostly using my video camera so I'll load the video clips later once I can get them onto photobucket (not tried video before, so don't hold your breath smile ).

Here's a few of mine
Not many track ones as I turned up just before the Caterham went off & had to be retrieved. It was then time for the lunch break.

& a few where I've tried to capture the wetness

The blue tubby (VX220 turbo) is mine, I was marshaling all day after the start/finish line waving my yellow flag to direct the cars back into the paddock. My view of the fishtailing Jag was from front on !

Wet socks, wet everything, but a good day all the same. Things I do for a free Easter egg.

I'm guessing you were there when the white Porsche GT3 locked it's brakes then! A bit of an overshoot methinks...smile

Good day, but very wet!

Yes, the driver very graciously came round to apologise to my young colleague who was in the way so to speak, and they arranged that if it happened again, the car would go left, the marshal right.

Or was it the other way round ?

Can we see the results anywhere?

Timing was done by TSL.

Their website is not showing the results yet.

Link to where the results should be displayed....

thanks for the photos...I was in the orange RSR

I can confirm it was VERY slippery. basically it was more like a rapid drive down a country road than track driving. standing water everywhere

fastest time was 95 secs GT3 cup car, next fastest was a Radical 99 secs I think

Was it the above - white GT3 that set the fastest time (car with the massive wing)

Certainly seemed to be going very quickly although i'm surprised it beat the Radicals!

Some great photos here. I think that the rain has actually given the photos more atmosphere. Especially like the GT40 shot.

Thanks for the pics...

I was in the Clio - you could say that the conditions played into our hands ;-)

Well done to everyone on the day and thanks to all of the Orgs and Marshals for making it all happen...

Cheers
Steve

Despite the bad weather some good photos here already. Gutted I missed Grant Williams antics in BUY1 Jag at the chicane, I heard he was spectacular!

I videoed it, but just got to figure out how I can get that clip off my camera and onto Photobucket.

Have to wait until tomorrow as I can't do anything using this laptop...I need to edit the clip on my other PC which is connected to the main TV (and the OH is watching something rolleyes ). I haven't got a tripod so it's a bit shaky, but at least I managed to keep him in shot and in focus.smile
