At this point last year we were probably on the third update of whos driving what. Why isnt it the case this year or am I missing it as they completely change the website with two months to go!

How will Mercedes have an F1 car running, I thought the testing ban ment only year old cars could drive like last year. I presume it will actually be a Brawn F1 car with Merc livery??

Its like the list of drivers/cars like we saw issued a few times in the lead up to the event in the last few years. I cant find it on the official site

I have to say, pretty poor show by Goodwood in updating the website... cannot remember it being updated so late on, and the fact we are getting all our info from other sites... come on goodwood.. catch up!

Its like the list of drivers/cars like we saw issued a few times in the lead up to the event in the last few years. I cant find it on the official site

Cheers . It says Button is in the MP4-25 (The current one? if i'm not mistaken?) I thought they weren't alowed to drive this years cars?. Also Rosberg in the new Mercedes GP and they also say the latest Ferrari F1 car?.

60 years of F1, Maybe they've got 'special' permission this year, Goodwood can get anything!. Can JGoodwood back this up?

The Brawn was a static exhibit last year. I think the teams are allowed something like 100kms of "demo" runs or that kind of thing. I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along shortly.

Also of note, lewis is down to drive the MP4-24 on sunday..would think BOTH lewis and jenson will be driving a MP4-24..it would make more sense?!. But then i also read on these very goodwood forums a while back, Rumors they would appear at goodwood 'together' and drive up the hill in their championship winning cars?.
i have never known ferrari run or even display a current F1 car at goodwood. red bull always seem to run at shows in a 'parts bin special' with their F1 car!

At the end of day F1 teams are VERY secretive of their current years car and technology, so i would doubt they would display this years cars at an event as open as goodwood...But we never know !

Manufacturers are still confirming, I guess they don't want to put up what isn't confirmed, whereas other sites don't mind posting rumours ?
