Breakfast club question...
Discussion
Another enjoyable Breakfast Club. Nice weather, not too busy and quite a mix of cars. I liked seeing some of the rare Fiats as much as seeing the Ferraris (Can't remember the last time I saw an X19 !)

I went today.
There was quite a few cars there today that suited everyone. The one thing i had issue with was the fact that i arrived at around 8:50am. Which meant i would miss out on quite a few interesting cars. And did!
I also got to spend time with a few people i know too whilst looking at the cars chatting, having a laugh. Perfection!
I somehow took quite a few pics too in amongst everything.

What's the Jensen Interceptor and Triumph Dolmite Sprint doing parked on the track though?
Jensen Interceptor bodies were designed by Carozzerie Touring IIRC and the early cars were built at Vignale before Jensen brought it back to Bromwich. I guess the Dolly Sprint might have a tenuous Italian link, wasn't it one of Michelotti's designs when he was sketching Triumphs? As to the Caterham, smeg alone knows

I thought I'd go in my Japanese jalopy Buck the trend, like..
...actually, it's one of the perks of having a disabled parking badge. They let you into the circuit anyway. Actually, the last few Breakfast Clubs I've noticed a whole shedload of (often very interesting) stuff parked up in the circuit carpark bit that has nothing to do with the theme. Dunno if it's a Member's parking thing or what
If you ignore the public car parks & arrive at the circuit entrance in a non-themed car amidst a queue of themed cars it's too much hassle for the marshals to turn you away & you get directed to the tarmac car park by the ticket office replica Tesco supermarket or near the control tower café. Not much point though unless you have mobility issues as the car park east of the circuit entrance (not the northern one) is only yards away....actually, it's one of the perks of having a disabled parking badge. Arriving at 7am is always the best bet, it is a breakfast meet after all, & at that time there are no queues for food & drink.

Good point thanks and what I suspected but when they registered why on earth where they granted track passes -bit of a stretch eh. Gassing Station | Goodwood Events | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
