Hi all had a superb morning at goodwood awesome cars, did anyone spot the Rolls Royce phantom convertible cruise past on trade plates,i did not think they were out yet .

Russ

Could be because they're built at Goodwood - pre-production example maybe?

I take it you didn't arrive at Goodwood from the direction of Chichester then, as you would have gone past the front door of the RR factory

I've seen it on the M27 a few times.
They regularly take their cars up there between Portsmouth & Southampton.

Think they must be, I saw one in Marlow back in February - Bright red one, pretty gross IMO. www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=162&t=360815

Hello justayellowbadge its space framed, Prova design where the manufactures. The story goes that they hired/borrowed a real Countach took casts of it and then produced their own.My car has genuine Lambo glass including door frames. It has a 5.7 chevy engine which is lightened and balanced to produce 420 hp. Transmitting this to the road it uses a Porsche g50 gearbox the same layout as Ultima use.I have been toying with the idea of supercharging it! The only thing that has stopped me is I may have to sell it due to the driving position aggravating an old knee injury

I did, I took a picture of it passing by. Did you also have the impression that the white car leaving Goodwood nearly hit it?

Thats one of the best things about Breakfast Club ... the other car park is probably more interesting than the main display.

Because i like Ferrari's too! i like alsorts beautiful cars! I parked in the pit area! Dont worry i didnt park her in the Italian stable yard!

It was the best showing of eligent horses and bulls ive ever seen together in one paddock! Oh and the bikes were great too, and not forgeting the DeTomsos that had the same engine as the one in my car!
