Nice; looks like you had some decent access there - photographers pass?
No pass just normal spectator access.
The drivers and cars were easy to get close to.
This for me is what motorsport viewing should be.
Matt Neal
Greg Mansell
Ferrari 250 GTO the last one of these sold at auction for $15 million (there were 2 in the paddock)
F1 burn out. The sound and smell was unbelievable.

Giancarlo Fishichella
The hill shots were taken at the point where the tractor ride to the rally stage picked up and dropped off.
It was a fair hike up there with the gear but worth it.
I had a good look around the hill on Friday at where the light was good and the best places to shoot etc. That was what I thought a fairly good point and went straight there on Saturday morning and stayed there all day.
The camera is a canon 1D MK 2
The first shot (Mansell) in the paddock was taken with a 16mm-35mm f2.8L lens
The second shot (Mansell close up) 24mm-70mm f2.8L lens and fill in flash.
The hill shots were taken with a 300mm f2.8L on a monopod and 1.4x or 2.0x extenders
