I looked at that same bike and i went with the Cube Acid. Took it out today for its first ride and found it very well put together.

Cheers. Thought long and hard about the Cube Acid, it was a great bike when I took it for a test ride but in the end it just didn't seem as well nailed together as the Rockhopper - of course this may or may not have been down to how well the bike shops put them together rather than how they were built at the factory - hence me going for the Spec. Well that and the cracking deal I got on the Spec, but it was close.

Hope you enjoy the Cube though, looks a great bit of kit doesn't it?

Thanks. Been out on it over the weekend its great fun.

I looked at the Rockhopper as well. Couldn't really decide between the two so went for Cube, liked the spec, frame and how it rode.
