Amazed nobody has said Gator, it looks stunning especially in that last pic. The clear winner for me.

Nightstorm is the daddy for me. From the top three Coral Reef, but tbh I'd be happy with any original Gator or HLF. Not keen on Dolomite though.

I wouldn't pay for an original or a repaint so I'll stick with my Trek era Attitude.

Jonrock is the guy with an amazing skill for re-painting Klein's

He's the chap with the two year waiting list - huge demand as he's so good

Mmm, I had a 92 Clockwork exactly like that one.

There's another guy in Germany or Poland who paints them as well. He's got videos on YT showing how and they're impressive. Seen him speaking/arguing with Jonrock on RB a while back.

They are well worth it!! It's only a Klein if it's pre trek In my opinion, Trek ruined everything about the brand.

2 years?? Holy hell, it only used to be 3 months! I made the stem bolts and quills for him! We replicated the original quill and bolt.

Also made the titanium brake bosses the he sells in the shop on his website

Couldn't agree more, there was something special about Klein paint, it was the best there was at the time.

^^ not just the paint - the frames were pretty special too. Gary Klein was way ahead of his time.
Such a shame Trek ruined it all.

  1. 1 looks best. Others are too staid.

Top Gun & Dolomite were the ones I remember being popular and the coolest back in the day when everyone wanted a Kline, sadly I look at all of them now and think they are rather ugly frames.

Here are a couple of my old attitude (I think this was 1992):

I also bought a Pinnacle frame at the same time which I still have, the Mavic MA40MB rims/Dakar hubs & Syncros post from the Attitude live on the Pinnacle now:

Top one by a country mile. Looks ace.

Anyone who says it's camp might want to remember they own lycra. This isn't the right sport for people worried about their manlyness =)

Thread resurrection!

Finally got my frame back from Etoe after a 9 month wait.
Decided on Moonrise in the end. This pic doesn't really do it justice - in sunlight it's really bright
