i don't want to fall foul of the advertising rules but...
if anyone would like me to source them accommodation for mega week i am putting in a bulk accommodation request on Tuesday morning. The more chalet's and apartments i request the better economies of scale i can get. You don't have to commit to any offer i come back with.
if you want someone else to do this bit of the trip for you contact me before end monday.

Floor Tom]Your bike is a bit on the XC side of things but you will still have a lot of fun. Last year I used my DH bike for the qualifier and a Cannondale Prophet for the main event. [footnote]Edited by Floor Tom on Thursday 14th January 16:40[/footnote said:
Thats exactly what i did - I took a cannondale judge DH bike for the qualifier, and a Prophet for the race.. rode the qualifier on both bikes and decided i'd use the DH bike for the same reason as Tom - need to take some wild lines to clear traffic... Was a bit depressed on race day, so decided to drive to monaco via the infamous route de napoloen instead of lament my non-starting... I could hardly change gears with my shoulder, but the pain was worth it - what a road!
As this is PH... I recommend driving down to alpe de huez... the roads are unbelivable, and I had the perfect 'support car'... two bikes and all my gear and soft compound semi-slicks :-)
Hi I m going for my second mega. Last year Fantastic, i had one big crash on the single track of the qualifier after the climb, going a bit too fast.
But definitely something worth doing, just get really fit, and it ll be good.
Paulmnz I'm sure I saw your integra up there last summer as well as an rx7 , and more recently i think in surrey hills.
Otherwise any guys around london going to the mega?? up for some rides?

Its nearly time!!!!
I have the tyres, the spares, the new full face, the insurance, and the new chain device! all i need to do now is prep the bike and finish this week of work.

That would be sweet mate. I don't know if I've told you but we've got a lovely big chalet with a couple of spare rooms
p.s. do i need any details for the chalet? booking confirmation etc?
