I believe we're playing it by ear. I expect some will go straight through and others will stop. I imagine we'll have fragmented into 2-3 sub groups by then anyway.
I favour a quick stretch and caffeine shot at Moreton, myself. But I don't want to make anyone stop who doesn't want to, so will ride on solo afterwards if it's just me.

Indeed, bonne chance to gruffy, Tony and Johno for the coming days. Hope it goes well and no dramas. See you on Sunday morning!
BTW, any ideas of the stop on stage 3 after Rayne yet, or playing by ear on the day?
Yeah, good luck to the guys, but I'm still in Singapore and not heading back to Europe for another 8 days .... BTW, any ideas of the stop on stage 3 after Rayne yet, or playing by ear on the day?

I think it's doable for me with two stops so I could well go with that too.I favour a quick stretch and caffeine shot at Moreton, myself. But I don't want to make anyone stop who doesn't want to, so will ride on solo afterwards if it's just me.
Moreton looks like a good stopping point to me too, pubs like they will serve up a healthy dose of pie and chips to fuel the 2nd leg
So there should be at least 3 of us stopping there (my mate never turns down a pub lunch.... or a break when on the bike).
Checked the weather on metcheck... 'Great weather for a BBQ' it said, but with those 20mph head winds it's not looking so good for cycling 100 miles south! At least it looks like suncream will be a good idea

Will there be room in a support car stage 3 to store a small rucksack? I am thinking of staying at my parents house the night before and don't want to have to walk around the fens on saturday in my lycra!
Yes. Can you get the rucksack to Cambridge by Sunday morning? Let me know where you are.Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
