Done my first century.
Discussion
Just wanted to add my name to those who have done the century. Just over 100 miles in 6 hours, enjoyed it, cracking day of weather and apart from 20 miles into a headwind, great condition. Perfect prep for the Pedal 4 Scotland in 2 weeks time, the 110 mile version.
Only issue is my left knee was sore at the end, suggesting something wrong with my position, first time I have ever had an issue

Congrats on your 100 miler.
Re the knee, I have heard that you can start the process of identifying the problem by pinpointing which part of the knee is giving you the pain.
e.g. front knee pain = saddle too low; pain at rear of knee = saddle too high. However I suspect this is too simplistic.....

Dragging this one back from the depths to say I joined the century club on the weekend. Saturday's New Forest 100 Sportive was pretty poor for weather and made for an interesting ride with a crash witnessed as well as a puncture or two. The route actually went out of the forest for half the time, presumably to get some hills in so it was hillier than I expected and the hills really took it out of the legs. 17.6mph moving average in the end which I was pretty pleased with given the conditions. Garmin only clocked 99 miles for some reason (maybe me forgetting to unpause after a stop or something) but I'm claiming it! Strava here - http://www.strava.com/activities/206023825
