Barns Farm Lane this morning, above Washington in Sussex. On Monday I decided to try for 10k m of climbing this month, which meant 3k m in 5 days. Today should have been 1k m in the morning, and any height gained on the way home would have been a bonus. But the bike, or rather the drive train, had other plans; the once in a while slip of the chain in some middle gear decided to make its presence felt in 1st and 2nd gear on even the slightest gradient. Makes it hard to do a lot of climbing!

Eelmoor Flash from Eelmoor Bridge! It looked so much nicer before they got rid of all the foliage there. Are you local to Farnborough?
Quite, far edge of Camberley. No idea why it's on it's side, but this hurts this morning ..... Maybe fitting as that's how it got done.
Was motor pacing behind a scooter, wet corner, front wheel washed out and I went down. Knocked out, passing cyclists helped me come round and I rode home 14kms. I don't remember much about that ride.
Broken saddle, which has taken hours of Internet trawling to find an identical replacement. Chin glued back together rather than stitches. Sore. Scrapes/roadrash everywhere..
New helmet time now as well.... Expensive trip down the tarmac.
Along the same theme (not me luckily)
Yesterday over Danbury we was on the last but one trail home, My mate came together with a fellow PH'rs Dog and slammed the anchors on and projectile himself into a waiting oak tree. Broken collar bone and a few ribs later he's home but its not how the day was going as the trails were awesome. the dog is fine (Andy still fine?)

First ride with my son on the back of my bike:

Just around the block a few times to get him used to it.
