Don't blame him, its a race not a charity, not as if Froome would stop and wait if it was vice versa

No it's not. It's racing. Would Froome have stopped his attack if he'd been planning to go. No.

fk him.

Boardman and Miller unanimous that it was an entirely legitimate move.

You dont attack like that when a rider has a puincture you dont stop and wait but you dont look to gain an advantage on the yellow jersey.
From a previous TDF
And yet there is massive outrage and heated debate when a competitor takes advantage of a big rival having a mechanical problem, as happened on Monday when Alberto Contador, favourite to win the Tour, pressed on after Andy Schleck, the biggest threat to him, unshipped his chain at a key moment. Contador is held to have broken an unwritten law: you don't attack your rival when he has crashed or had a mechanical.

So we are to have a duel on Alpe D'huez. Thomas had a bad day I wonder if he was told to save himself for tomorrow and help Froome.

If he had attacked not knowing then fair play but he waited until Froome stopped to remove the stone then looked and attacked.

Rubbish. Both said he was a knob for claiming that he didn't see Froome was in difficulties, but both admitted that it was legitimate for him to do what he did.

Particularly as he's not contesting the race lead. Nibali's racing Valverde, not Froome.

Totally agree, the point is nibbles used the good will of the others who did slow for the maillot jeune to his advantage, it wasn't an attack on froome per se.

dont start writing crap to start an argument Millar clearly changed his mind.He was out of order you can dress it up anyway you want but he did the dirty on Froome oris Froome wrong in what he said too.

I know it's professional racing but I think it was poor of Nibali (and I'm a big fan of his) to attack whilst Froome was having a mechanical. However the rest of his ride - top drawer. Really hoping for an aggressive start for tomorrow's stage - I'm half way up Alpe d'huez hoping to watch an awesome finale. Moreover, I think Froome has more than enough time in hand over Quintana.

Yes, it will interesting to hear Contador's view on this (although he has previous with Schleck.....).

Should be a great end to the yellow jersey race tomorrow.

I can't see Quintana winning, I also think that Sky was keeping a lot of powder dry today.
