Pricey build fella! In the trade or just like the rest of us obsessives, beans on toast aficionados.
Not in the trade, however some friends who are and I tend to hunt out bargains and buy bits from the US.Here's a better pic as the other was pretty rushed!

Oooof!Looks like another rider has made the same mistake as you, and slammed into that log. You were lucky not to end up straight over the bars, too.
Best get that reported, so it can be cleared off the trail. It'll only be a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt.

I can't compete with these bikes. Not going to post mine up now! . Stunning machines, would be happy with one of these let alone both!
Go ahead and post photos of your bike. It's not the 'look at my cagillion pound bike' thread after all My old dh bike Coyote dh2, put together by myself and old man when I used to race it. Sold it once and got it back after offering the owner a MAD trials bike. Don't want to get rid because of the memories.
Trek road bike. Used on a London to Paris ride last yea and gets used a few rides per week.
XC cannondale. Never been raced and got it on a whim, reduced as it had a little scratch so couldn't say no. Really nice light bike to ride.
Latest addition to the fleet, picked it up on Sunday for £450 so again thought it was cheap and wanted something to use on the local trials centre.
Do have a couple of 'Fixer Uppers' in the shed as well but nothing worth showing, one that will probably never get done and the other is going to a friend.

Can't remember who it was but someone wanted some more pics of the Roadlite, so here they be;
Scribbled some words down about it on my blog too if anyone wants to know more. 300 miles racked up on it over the past 5 and a bit weeks, enjoying it

You must be hot stuff if you can do trials on an FS bike. Not sure we are worthy. Craivold said:

Bars rotated up and back, to raise their height and make the 'cockpit' more comfortable for the individual rider?
All the rage in the 70's and 80's. In the USA it was known, I believe, as the "Beach Cruiser" look. Over here, it was just a way of changing to a more upright riding position if you had a 'racer' which you didn't race or train on. There were no real mountain bikes back then, and the only flat bar bikes were proper 'old man' bikes with three speed Sturmey Archer hubs and full mudguards and dynamo lights. There really was no middle ground between your kids bikes (Chopper/Grifter) and BMXs, and your 'racing' bikes. The rotated bar look was usually the territory of paperboys riding decrepit 5 speed iron bedsteads which almost never saw the 'open road'.
Flipping the bars was an easier task back then, as the shifters were on the down tube, unaffected by the change in bar angle, and you could learn to brake with your thumbs/the palms of your hands, meaning no need for pesky brake lever movement or fiddly re-wrapping of bar tape. Nowadays, you'd be hard pushed to learn to operate the shifters from such a bizarre handlebar position, but I see plenty of people who have rotated their handlebars up slightly, as in the original picture...
