Great scenes at the end there...

Really pleased for Froome and Team Sky.

Did no one notice the protester / idiot in the middle of the road on one of the last bends?

Just been looking down the BBC live text trail and a post about Froome swerving around a "plonker". Assume that was him!

I don't mind him but the crap he comes out with at times is a bit misjudged. The latest article in the Mirror about him demanding Froome prove he's clean is a good example of that. Its called drug testing Greg...
I think you'll find the Mirror headline is not an accurate reflection of what Lemond said in the interview.
Lemond does not demand Froome "PROVE' he is not doping, despite this being stated in the Mirror headline.
Lemond suggests that sharing VO2 max data might help Team Sky fend off the sceptics and put the story to bed.

I was amongst those who rubbished Lemond when he was questioning Armstrong, asking for his VO2 max data. As it turns out he was one of the very few to have the balls to stand up for the truth. I respect him for that.

Love the shaking of the head from Froome. What is it with Sagan and podiums?

Shall we start a club. The I believed in Armstrong club, we could make it like an AA meeting .

Not sure, i saw it and it looked pretty grim - but SWMBO told me (I had briefly wondered off) that the commentators said he had gotten up and rode over the line.

i thought it was a Trek rider from the little we saw of them.

"Hello my name is John and I believed Armstrong was clean because he said he was".
That's not the same Lance Armstrong who, after a long term illness announced himself as a grand tour gc rider, with a fourth place in the Vuelta 98. A rider who formerly couldn't climb or time trial for toffee, and had lost over 15% of his skeletal muscle mass, and then went on to dominate numerous Tour de Frances. Hopefully, we are never likely to see that sort of dramatic and unexplained transformation again...

I did think that straight away, but I think it was just puerile humour, he's nuts

I saw the screenshot of him pinching a podium girls arse as well, hes bonkers, well naïve
