It's fair to say with the Km's on the beach and nothing challenging technically off road anywhere near me, I'm going fully rigid on the Niner over the winter..... Looking forward to it.

Hopefully Kinesis have sorted the internal routing for the wiring through the BB.

Thanks for the heads up. What did Kinesis have to say about this?

They said some early frames didn't have all the holes. We found another guy drilling one for his customer. Will be interested to see if your one is fine.

They recommend a 140mm rear disc and yet supply an adapter for a 160. Watch for that if you have a 140.

It does have a hole on the seat tube, about 6 inches above the BB shell. Is there another hole I need to look for?

It's the way through to the BB shell from the down tube. There was no internal route.

They're great cages, they hold the bottle well and never had a problem with mine. Hope you're fitting it to a LOOK frame yes

Forgot to mention the new Wahoo Kickr I bought last month to help me get through the winter kinths now that I've stopped commuting by bike as I work from home now. I've subscribed to Trainer Road for the winter and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself with it.
Get yourself on Zwift - works so well with the Kickr. You can still do structured workouts like TR, but have the added bonus of racing people in real time.
Hi Nammynake

I have tried Zwift, but I just didn't like it. It might be a computer problem, but in my free trial it crashed a couple of times and I don't want to buy a new computer just to fix that. I'm more than happy with TR, it has never crashed, I have downloaded the companion app so my mate comes round and trains with me occasionally and if I change the display to 'minimal' at other times I can still watch Netflix (other streaming service are available!) whilst working out. smile

Cheers

Flipper
