these tyres are the muts nuts and continue to impress me. I noticed this morning that the front tyre has a couple of big old bits of glass bedded fairly deep and are a puncture waiting to happen (probably on my way home tonight)

Given these things are a PITA to get on and off (well to me they are anyway) should I try and dig it out whilst the tyre is inflated with a suitable tool, or would I be better off deflating the tyre and doing it that way?

That's what I do. I find the pointy end bit of the file on a set of nail clippers works well. thumbup

ta - my missus will be pleased (she dislikes me using anything non bike related for bike related tasks) - I'll give it a whirl..
