Just reading through the program now, and notice that a certain TSCFree of this parish is entered in the time trial.
I've entered the Cadwell Kermesse which is the Crit race around Cadwell before the TT, although I'm sat here with gastroenteritis and spent most of yesterday in bed. I'll try getting on the bike tomorrow and see how I feel before deciding whether or not to race. I'll be doing the sportive with Velo on Sat so I'll look out for Wheelers Jerseys and marshalling the National on Sun up in the Bailgate. Looking forward to a great weekend racing and social.

Hope you're feeling well enough to enter.

A great event on Saturday, thoroughly enjoyed the route and the warm sunshine! Loads of people out watching too, especially helpful where they were banging the boards up Michelgate at the end
I'd set myself a target of 5:45:00 but finished in 5:52:14 after running out of steam in the last 15 or so miles. Good enough for 119th out of 646 though so not too unhappy.

I'd be happy with 5:52. I had a moving time of 6:40.
My aim was an average of 15mph over the route, but only managed 14.7, went out a bit too strong as we had an average of 17.something by the first feed stop.
As you say though, great day, great weather, friendly locals cheering on through villages and the finish up Michaelgate.

I don't think we were the only ones who set off quicker than we normally would; the tailwind at the start certainly made the first third feel easier... unlike the final third heading back into the wind! At least it was dry this year though, unlike 2014, so I didn't get wheel spin going up Michelgate
