Kinesis Pro 6 as a winter roadbike?
Discussion
After slogging around on the roads using my hardtail Cannondale MTB (Hard work....), I've been looking for a winter trainer to see me through to next spring when hopefully I can score a new disc equipped Domane. I was watching a couple of Ribble 7005 bikes, but at the last minute spotted a Pro 6 with Tiagra groupset and Avid mechanical discs. I have no idea what these are worth secondhand but put in what seemed a reasonable bid and oops, won it!
Given that I have absolutely zero experience of any type of non - MTB, have I made a major error? Assuming not, what sort of changes beyond the obvious (Tyres, mudguards) will I need to make to turn it into a comfy winter roadie, up to some reasonably regular 30-50 mile rides now, and possibly further by early next year.
The sage advice of the Pedal Powered People will be much appreciated!
