Dropper Post Help

Hi guys

I've treated myself to an early Christmas present but I can't get my dropper post to work. Can anyone help please?

It's a Giant Contact Switch. The post is pre-cabled and it's set to the external routing which I'm happy to use rather than internal.

The post will go down with me pushing it but then it just moves back up again! I can't get any functioning from the lever/cable at all. I don't think it's faulty, I'm sure it's something I'm not setting up right.

Any help appreciated so I can get out and ride it!

It does seem to be something to do with the cable not triggering the switch properly. I think I need to play around with the tension a bit
