What to watch on the turbo trainer?!
Discussion
Now the weather is turning a bit miserable (he says on a gloriously sunny morning) I'll be doing longer endurance rides on the TT....I did a 150min ride on Friday morning as I was off work and it was raining quite a lot, by the time I finished it was dry so topped it off with another 50mins outside.....I set a few episodes of top gear going to pass the time but was wondering what others watch?
When doing harder sessions with tough intervals I'm more than happy with just some music, but for the longer endurance rides it was actually quite nice to watch something. Top gear was good because it's very light watching and you don't need to focus much; I couldn't watch a few episodes of a TV series where you have to pay close attention to get the story, for example.
Thoughts?

Boxed sets of the West Wing and BSC have seen me through some pretty long turbo sessions (longest was just over 6 hours). Get headphones (ideally in-ear one as they cause less sweating) to drill the soundtrack into your head. Trying to compete with the noise of the turbo won't work.
I've found these better than any of the Tour highlights, the Tour live stages, rugby, films, or music. I think it is because a 30-45 minute episode of something generally moves at a reasonable tempo with little "down time". All of the other stuff I've tried tends to drag in places. And that's not good.
