Hi,
Looking at the below bike on the cycle 2 work scheme:
http://www.boardmanbikes.com/hybrid/hybrid_team.ht...
Currently using a Cannondale Trail SL5 as a regular commuter bike, but it's not really suited for the job. I know there are plenty of haters regarding Halfords, but I would get a lbs to look after it (York cycleworks is literally 100m away from where I live)
It appears to get good reviews on the sites that i've looked at so far.
Thanks.

good bikes with good a good spec dont let the halfraud part of it put you off. Ask for them to keep it in the box and ask a local bike shop to assemble it no problems then.
I think that might be the plan. The 2 shops are only 1/2 mile away from each other.S'pose i should get some lycra for the road bike now....
