I'm just sitting here wondering about how that passes emissions and noise regulations during an MOT???
I believe that it's age exempts it due to it's classic status. Indeed, as a pre-'73 chassis it should be tax exempt and with the proposed regulation changes could actually end up MOT exempt too.... ?Thinking about it - someone could probably update the Wikipedia entry to include the fact that a modified example of the type is now the fastest road legal car in the world...

And just wheels and tyres are fitted to pass inspection..
It's a '73 car. No emissions/ noise test required!)And just wheels and tyres are fitted to pass inspection..
That's why classics are such a good choice for modding!
Crazy machine, love that something like that can be squeezed through the loopholes of being road legal.

Presumably that green turbo'd Superbird isn't a road-legal one? Quite a bit faster than RV3, although that's a mental machine to still pass an MOT.
That Superbird looks absolutely awesome!Out of interest, has RV3 been put down the 1/4m strip in street legal trim? I'd be interested to know how that then compares to other hypercars (Veyron, Pagani Waaaayyheeerrra, etc).... just pure, idle curiosity!
Well done to everyone involved.
Speaking to Slinky on Forza it will do about 7mpg being driven on the road. For what it is really fuel efficient.
Although he did say when it is being run flat out it is more like 12gpm
It is incredible though, as has been said before, that a road car can reach 220mph in 6.59 seconds.

Hypercars would be lucky to run a 9-second pass at 150mph.Out of interest, has RV3 been put down the 1/4m strip in street legal trim? I'd be interested to know how that then compares to other hypercars (Veyron, Pagani Waaaayyheeerrra, etc).... just pure, idle curiosity!

Indeed, but what would RV3 do on Tesco99 with road legal tyres etc, that's my idle curiousity at plan Well done on your record, The car looks great in the flesh.
The super bird stole the thunder there a bit but what a awesome run. You think you have much performance left? The way the superbird pulls away at the top end was quite alarming from your video.
Still second gear launch? It's going to epic I can't wait well done
