I think the 'real deal' may be to persuade 5 to broadcast the entire ESPN coverage, remember, that also includes the qaulifiying. That could be fun, a whole night (after midnight) of qaurter mile FUN!

Did FiveUS never intend to show the whole season then ? Did Channel 5 show the whole season from Pomona to Pomona in the graveyard slot on Thursday mornings ? Somebody must know.

Barry,

Channel 5 post smut slot showed all the races 2 weeks after the event. There were only 3 events not shown due to the over run of the College basketball finals and a ice hockey match.

They never did reshow these events.

Hopefully they will show the 2007 season too.

Er, yes, 5 did broadcast pamona to pamona, but there was so much 'over-run' of baseball, ice hockey and none essential gibberish, i am still not sure if i have ALL of the season. The problems realy started when they broadcast the qaulifiying for Vegas, the screenings schedule became SNAFU.

Right, lets all stop getting our knickers in a twist...

The rest of the season (no doubt as shown on 5 with the vegas cock up) will be shown in its usual slot on FiveUS restarting next Monday (the 8th of January 2005) at 7pm after the Christmas break. You will find as with the early morning slot on Five that Sunset and Vine actually produces all programming for the 7pm FiveUS slot and as such they know far more about what will be shown than Channel 5 do as do Broadcasting Data Services who look after Five's listings.

Its no good talking to Five's customer services about anything, they are little better than an automated reply service it appears.
