You wouldn't believe how many 2+2's have made 38 in the last few days...

Time to stop jumping to wholly irrational conclusions maybe?

Jocke had one avenger, did some testing in it and I think he bought another one in and the older one was for sale

Patrick Pers is the latest addition to Pro Fuel at the Thunderball in a Chevrolet Camaro AA/FC. Will the Shockwave team be entering ? That would bring the total of Fuel Coupes to 5 if so.

Last year didn't Knut Soderquist put two of his Fuelers up for sale and buy two Fuel Funnies when he was in the States?

Yes and one of those Patrik Pers is driving at Easter with the old Terry Haddock Camaro body on it. The other is the old Mike Ashley show car Pontiac Firebird from his Worsham days.

You going to see any of these Funny cars run this year John?

I'm gutted for the Shockwave team; all this time that they've helped to keep the AAFC flag flying and now the numbers are increasing the team are unable to attend the Thunderball.

Here's hoping they get the resources together in time for the Main Event !

mmmm, interesting point:-

"I thought FIA followed NHRA regs 12 months behind? Hence Urs and the Anderssons having to take the Electronic timers off their cars for 2006, and re fit them this winter"

I know its HIGHLY unlikely, BUT, what would happen if (god forbid) a european racer stumbled by chance on "something" (be it technical, mechanical, chemical or cerebral) that increased a TF or AAFC vehicles performance? would it be NHRA acceptable or would we have to forget it and follow NHRA edict?

Would our colonial cousins accept it?

(what hapenned to the quad cam TF engines?.........)
