To be fair they are repeating the series for a 2nd time as it has been on Channel 5 on a Thursday morning throughout the year.

Since that is the case i think they have no real obligation to show it all again.

Now that would be good.I remember motors tv showing the aussie season a couple of years ago, was great viewing.

True but with having to be at work for silly hours and no working vcr due to the dvd age I missed 90% of the 1st airing. not that thats a reason to air it again but it was about the only tv i watch. (nothing to do with catching a quick glimpse of Ashley Force honest)

Yeh, saw it too. Thing is its summer down under just now so if Five sorted it we could have the aussie season now and then the U.S in our summer time.

To be fair to who ? I didn't see much of the 'middle of the night' coverage either so I for one want them to finish what they started and besides, it's a good opportunity for people who have no idea what drag racing is, to see it on TV at a respectable hour.

I didnt mean to upset anyone i was just stating that since they have shown the coverage they would feel less obliged to re-run it.

I am all for showing it again as it can only help our sport as many people have said to me they have seen 'that drag racing you lot do' on the TV.

At least they haven't dropped it completly.

Roll on January and it will be back...

gess they just fobbing us off, it was nice while it lasted

The season has, indeed finished, and they are perhaps not too keen to repeat coverage. It is possible they dont have the rights to the Australian stuff.

Perhaps instead of giving them a hard time, some thanks and encouragement might see Ch 5 keen to run the excellent NHRA coverage next season as well?

Got a similar response as well plus I had asked about IHRA stuff. Their response was "Unfortunately, we do not have the rights to IHRA. However, we have passed your request to see this programme on Five to our Sports Department for their attention" So perhaps e-mails asking for IHRA as well.

Have sent them lots of emails to thank them over the months, thay know we want more so it's up to them now!

So they're not going to review the whole season then ? These Monday night FiveUS slots only showed half the season, if that.. or did I miss a step ?
