just to cross post, anyone interested?

http://www.englishforum.ch/transportation-driving/...

OK people, I have found a guy in the UK who is willing to come over here and paint correct / detail peoples cars, He comes highly recommended from the MG owners forum (I'm a member) obviously to make it worth his while he would need a few people lined up, and what with the pound being so weak its a perfect opportunity, I don't mind organising it all, let me know via PM if your interested

Thanks

for the full works inside and out is £280, that is my top service, for just the outside only paint correction is around £150 depending on what car it is, all my prices and what you get are more detailed on my website so if you would like a look through that and then you can see what you would like: http://stevescleenz.co.uk/detailing_treatments.htm .

I would also add that I'm happy to take my car to a location nearby where others are getting their cars detailed if this simplifies things

which is why I'd rather pay someone else wink

If I was him I'd be more worried about that rust then how shiney his paintwork is!!!

Actually I might also be interested - the black paint on my car is soft and I can see a couple of scratches and swirls already. I think it needs a coating of that detailer's waxy stuff. Will he come to Zug?

Sorry Guys to tell you, but...

We have one of the worlds best Car Care Products, that is made in Switzerland. Swizöl or Swissvax is 15 minutes away from Zürich. And the will tell you where you can have your car cleaned. People have their Ferraris sent over to zürich to be cleaned and waxed for shows such as Pebble Beach or Villa d'Este.

To me it sounds like you are going to the Octoberfest in Munich and bring you own Beer...

Cheers

smile there are car detailers all over the world, but, the pound is weak, and he is willing to come here and charge UK prices, he also comes highly recommended.

I could pay a swiss based detailer 1500chf to correct my paint, or I could pay steve 500chf, he uses the same products and will do the same job, its a no brainer really wink

so more like going to Octoberfest seeing your favorite beer for sale at 10 euro, while its on sale next door for 5 euro where would you buy it from?

Right... I would not do it for CHF 1'500.- ... But what If I told you that I had my Chimaera cleaned and waxed @ Autop (Zürich, Tiefenbrunnen) for CHF 650.- flat. I even got a Smart Convertible for the time beeing... and that for free...

No worries, please have your cars cleaned with who you like... I just wanted to let you know, that it is not really much more expensive if you do it here.

By the way... I would buy the beer in the shop where it is ice cold... not where it is cheap ;-)

Oh, that is a shamefrown let me look out the correct Swiss email address and we'll go from there.
You'll need to email through what car you have and what you are after ie a protection detail ie wash, clay, cleanse and wax followed by interior etc, or if you want a paint correction detail where we target defect removal such as swirls etc.
Will get the address and post it up later tonight, and I promise we wont stop replying to emails!

Best wishes
