I contacted the organizers to inform them of our thread. This is the reply which came back yesterday:

Thank you Daniel, let the PH team know that the organizing committee (me) took a polite bow, thanks for the compliments we won't change a thing, just hope for good weather again.

A quick heads-up that page 14 of the January 2010 issue of Classic & Sportscar has an article and photos of the British Car Meeting. I would be interested to learn if the French edition of CSC also carries the same story.
