For us:

Sept 12-13,Sept 19-20,
Oct 3-4, Oct 10-11, Oct 17-18. the latter might be rather late, but you never know, there are lovely autumn- days around

but due to some economical difficulties of her employing company, Dot and I have to change sometimes quickly our possibilities

Would the 3rd or the 10th October be OK for the majority?

Following Rainer's advice about the road widths and his route suggestions here is the final plan. As ever, feed back is welcome.

After the Furkapass:

Andermatt - Bürglen

Bürglen - Klausenpass

Klausenpass - Näfels

Näfels - Mollis

Hi, 3rd should be OK. 10th is my son's birthday so I'd either have to upset him or his mother.

The meet is open to anyone who would like to come along.

Chosing the date is going to disappoint some people but can we say the 3rd? I'll try and find a suitable meeting point and then get around so organising the route and then email to all of those who can make it.

I would like to join you with my Tuscan or Tamora. But on October 3rd is the Classic British Car Meeting in Morges. http://www.british-cars.ch/index_a.html

So for me only October 10th would be good.

Ciao Peter

The 3rd is also no good for me. The 10th sounds spot on! Please bring the Bat-Mobile as I don't want to wait for you every second corner ;-)

Don't forget to send me the quotes for my Wheels!

Cheers

Just a suggestion - personally i think doing the Klausen the other way from Glarus to that William Tell village is better - but i do realise that this completely buggers up the whole route!

The way up from Glarus is fairly wide and you can get on it a bit, the downward bit towards William Tell village is very narrow with rock face almost touching the road and is more suited to cruising down and taking in the views?

Thoughts ?

Gentlemen,

Due to a change in circumstances, I am unable to attend the run on the 3rd October.

The only day open to me now is the 10th.

I am sorry if this upsets people but I can organise the run for the 3rd if there is still demand for it but I will not be able to attend.

Is there the possiblity of holding the run on the 10th? Are people still free or is it a little short notice?

Also, I have sorted out the routes and directions and I need your e-mail addresses. If you could email me at the address below then I can send you all the information.

Cheers,

Pete
