I've had this thread bookmarked for ages intending to add a few shots gathered over the years

Prescott last year - last outing for the old bus - best bits are getting used for another track car - not a Monza I should add.

My local track

Croix (France) When she looked her best

My other local track (Marham Airfield)

Pod

Mallory

I have a very over used 2 wheel shot but I've wed that one round a bit too much to post it here

Somewhere else in France (when she was road legal and a track car)

Silverstone (in the early days)

Evolution from 1550 kgs and fuel injected 3.0 L 12V with 165 bhp to 1200 kgs and triple sidedraft feed 3.0 L 24V with 250 bhp in 13 years

I've a strong emotional attachment to it (well to Monzas really) but there comes a time when I have to let this one go......

I'm not much into pretty or polished and it's always been a bit scruffy if I am honest - it was a free car I saved from a worse fate (in 1999 from memory) and when I first started down the trackday route and fitted a cage and removed all the std interior I thought if I get 3 years out of it before I broke it badly I'd be doing well........ It took 7 years before I ran out of talent and parked it on it's roof - it was never coming back from that...

Pardon my ignorance, but what model is this car? I can see the badge, but have never come across that one before...
Looks great, and it certainly looks fun on the track!

it is a Sylva Phoenix, this one happens to be a Supercharged Zetec version running 340HP and weighing 620Kg wet. The photo was taken at Hethel on the Lotus Test Track during a sprint.

LOL - thanks!

I was also giving a thumbup, but you can only just see it through the glass. Silly wrist straps stopped waving out the rollcage... wink

Some superb pics in this thread smile

My Fiesta Metal on track at a greasy Brands last December;

(With a friend of mine at the wheel)

(Just overtaken a friends Zetec-S with a Puma lump, very evenly matched throughout the day)

Our sheddy, but very trusty/strong track Puma (purchased between a couple of friends, I'm not sure it's possible to have so much fun for so little cash).

Setting the brakes on fire at Bedford;
