Do I or don't I ????

Gents / Ladies,
I have a 1991 Metro Gti SPI which is immaculate. It is my second and that is only because I got rid of my first and regretted it, hence the second.
I have bought new wishbones and mgf bottom ball joints as I plan to replace existing ones, but with polybushes. Much easier to fit to new I'm sure you understand. I'm looking at Superflex as the supplier as this is the only company which do the 2.5mm offset tubes within the bushes for better camber.
I took my car to akmotorsport in Leeds Saturday gone to have the hydragas suspension 'topped-up' just so I can make relevant measurements before individualizing the units. The guy who did this for me as he has a hydragas vacuum pump said I should think twice about whether I should track the car. Only due to there not being many about especially in this condition.
Quandary is, I can't afford to buy another car for track and I do cherish this car. What would you do?
