Morning chaps, first post, but have lurked here off and on and know what a good bunch you are!!

Anyhow, thanks to PB I have gone and booked folembray for the day.

I see pistonheads have been there before so any guidance please,;

ESPECIALLY; what is the gig with insurance? they say each individual must have their own insurance and i must have organiser insurance, which they can help with? Is individual insurance ordinary vehicle insurance? What do they actially want to see on the day? Do they turn people away?

Noise? Those limits are damn quiet, my R1 on standard pipes will exceed that; how strict are they? My mate claims to have out new pipes on his hill climbing anglia, but that thing is loud. Will they turn him away?

Thanks very much for the replies.
Sylvie is dealing with me (not Jacques, I haven't heard of him), but she isnt replying at the moment. So people will be there we can give money to if insurance becomes a problem?
E111 is excellent idea, we will take it in turns for marshalls, and had to take the ambulance and doctor, even though we will be fully staffed with two anaesthetists, a surgeon and a dentist.
Realistically we will probably get the Anglia down to beneath 105Dbs. If they object, we'll kick him out. They'll probably be laughing too much at the Anglia; its a full on hill climber.
We're camping at the circuit the night before.
July 29 (friday) is the day if you're about. Dont try to overtake the Anglia, or the endurance racing suzuki gsxr750!

Just to say thanks for the advice.

We all had a cracking day out. Folembray seems tight, twisty and frightening at first (esp on an R1) but soon endears itself as a cracking little cicuit although there are a few places i wasnt taking any chances.

The porsche through its alternator belt, the anglia was impressive and bits fell off the ducati.

We reckoned 1:05 was fast for the bikes, and 1:09 for the cars but we werent timing accurately.

No insurance, no hassle. One comment about the noise of the Anglia (it wasnt loud), and several others about the english loving the grass. But apart from the odd run off, no crashes at all.

Back next year!!!! Talk about value for money!!
