Im in............. Very excited about my first track day.

Good stuff. BTW - you won't get too many stone chips as long as you don't sit 6" off everyones bumper!

Are you bringing the AMV8?

I was tempted until I saw it was £245, thats a bit steep imo!

For a full day, open pit lane? Some of the other circuits are much more expensive!

yep i'll be there in a silver boxster S, cool to talk to any fellow PH'ers
£245 is a bit steep but there are less cars than usual there.
Bedford is A1 my fave track
c u all there
btw, can i grap a pax ride in the AMV8 pls....??

Joe not a problem with a ride round, i wouldn't mind going in the boxster round the track either as i still think the boxster i had was one of the best handling cars iv had. What part of surrey are you? Are you driving up sat morning, maybe we could meet somewhere on the way there?

I'll be coming from Hampshire, along the M3, around the M25 and up the M1... Keep an eye out for a blue GT3!

Steve im coming from Richmond so other end of M3, what time you setting off?

Hmm - hadn't really thought about it but I'd like to be there before the first briefing at 8:25am so I guess I'll be leaving at around 6am

Its a shame its a pain in the neck to try and stop anywhere near the M3 / M25 interchange otherwise I'd suggest meeting somewhere but its early enough as it is! If I leave at dead on 6am, I will be getting to the M25 slip road at around 6:50 if that helps?

BTW - whats your real name?

Can't help with the decision about getting to the M1 but just to let you know that from the M1 to the autodrome is slow if you go thru Bedford (even at that time in the morning, its all town roads at 30mph). The other route you really need someone navigating for you (or GPS) if you haven't done it before..

What revs did you have that measured at? I know in the past a few people have told porkies about the rpm in order to get it thru the noise test.... as long as you hold back going thru the noise meter on track...

they do simple 1/2 revs static test at bedford but also have 2 or 3 microphones around the circuit which are stupidly sensitive. i dont think there's any way in hell 108 will pass a 101 circuit !

Fair point....!

See you there tomorrow in the other motor!!

Sh*t i could have with reading this before i set off on Saturday. I saw the speed camera sign but spent most of the time looking for the normal ones. Hopefully i didnt get done on the way back as well. So how long for my letter(letters)?

Keep your fingers crossed - 14 days is the rule...

BTW - Good to meet you (and everyone else!) yesterday - its nice to put some faces to the bulletin board usernames! BTW - Brett, that AMV8 is loverrrrrly.

Also just to say thanks to all at Goldtrack. It was my first Goldtrack event and I thought it was professionally run, everyone was very well behaved on track and it was a generally superb day.

Cheers
