Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience with circuit-days.co.uk?
I'm thinking of booking one of their events, but am concerned that they are booking 60 cars on the event (Silverstone South, Open Pitlane).
Seems like a lot of cars to me, track days I've done in the past have been only 30-40 cars.
Any comments good/bad welcome.
Cheers, Kev.

Done quite a few days with them now including Silverstone both South and the GP. Well organised days and I wouldn't worry about the car numbers, they will limit the number on track if they need to so it won't be swarming - having said that it usually balances out naturally anyway and I can't remember ever really being queued up waiting to get out on one of their days.

yep done quite a few days with them and nice people to deal with.
their days are more busy as a whole i think than other like BaT and maybe GT so there is a chance that you may have a few more cars on track or a small queue occassionally but you can weigh that up agaisnt the price which usually is good and at the lower end
having said that Circuit days do have some days not sold out which are quiet and balance the other busier days out.

CD are good-my favourite TDO. Chris is a top chap and likes to look after his customers, unlike PhuckatrackBOOKATRACK who couldnt care less.

I actually think them being nice and polite is their weakness as too many monkeys are being allowed to do their crazy driving for too long sometimes, it seemed to me... Otherwise good.

Otherwise good. price you pay is no guarantee of a track being free from Monkeys. Ive seen some big f k off gorillas turn up at the most expensive of trackdays without a care in the world

Once dissenting voice here for Circuit Days.
I went on their track day to Le Mans and had a steering fluid fault/loss via what turned out to be a split hose. Even though they said in their publicity that they have mechanical backup I never saw it even though I asked for help. In the end (after two hours waiting including the staff going off for their lunch) I sorted it myself via recovery.
They also said they’d have photography present but it wasn’t.
Upon returning to the UK I emailed my concerns but never received a reply.

Cheers for all the feedback. I've booked in for Silverstone on the 21st November. If you're there, look out for blue z4 being driven slower than anyone else!!

I`ve used them a lot this year. Well organised days, sometimes a too many cars booked onto the day, but generally very well run IMO.

We love CD. Joined for 2010 and are looking forward to some excellent days. We spent 2 days with them at Le Mans Bugatti. It was out first CD and loved the attitude and approach. The briefing was more or less, go out, drive fast, have fun, don't crash. That was helped in no small measure by the circuit and the drivers there I suspect as in 2 days, not a SINGLE red flag and only one brief yellow. Even though they run live recovery at Le Mans there was no need to use it. (although we all felt safer when the turbo nutter b d in the black Audi cooked his car and went home) Sorry to hear that someone had problems with the mechanical support. For what it's worth we, and I'm sure most attendees, would do whatever we could to help out someone who had a problem, if we knew about it. We have found dealing with Chris very easy recently when we had to pull out of a day quite late, he was happy to carry our booking over. As a result we've signed up to their Abu Dhabi package (I think that's what it's called).
