If a jobis mainly advertised as work form home I would be wary of scams.

Especially if you have to pay them any fees upfront.

That said plenty of people work from home for their genuine jobs.

Are a lot of them not basically call centre type work. I bought a holiday off someone working in their kitchen once.

A friend spent a day constructing 4 way adapters at home. They deliver the parts, you put them together, they pick them up the next day and deliver more. He decided 1 day was enough of that.

He got paid, though, right?

Yes he got paid. But the hours it'd taken worked out less than the minimum wage at the time. The time they said it would take for each item was a joke.

My company allow me to work from home. Can't say I enjoy it much though. 1 day a week is fine, but no more than that.
