Hello

I am a VHDL ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer looking for a new Contract as my current Contract expires in January 2007.

I have over 12 years specific experience as an ASIC/FPGA Designer, and have been Contracting for over 9 years. I have worked for both Commercial and Military Companies and have experience in the Space, Networking, and Broadcasting Industries.

I undertake all aspects of the Design Cycle including Architecting, Specification, VHDL Design and Simulation, Synthesis, Place and Route, Hardware Level Testing, and Support and Technical Documentation.

I am based in Hampshire and would like something reasonably local as I have a young family.

Please email me for a full CV and any further information.

Many thanks
Bill

I don't know if they're still advertising but Tandberg Television have been advertising (again) within the last month. They were looking for someone to do DVB compression IIRC.

They're in your area, it's a bit of a stretch for me. Heck it may even be your old job! hehe

Could be worth checking out though.

How spooky.... not my old job, but where my current Contract is!! My last 2 Contract extensions here at Tandberg have only been for 4 weeks each, so the work is drying up. Also, there's a big push to replace Contractors for Permy staff. A real shame as it's less than 2 miles from where I live. Never mind, I've had 2 years out of them.

Anyway, thanks for the info thumbup
