So I've noticed that my permanent employment contract incorrectly states my hours.

It says I'm employed to work 8 hours more that I was originally employed to work on a temporary basis.

My original job was for 8 hours a week less than I currently work and I was 'loaned' 8 more after about 6 months.

My manager wants me to sign a declaration stating that I will hand back the 8 hours if necessary after being given 3 months notice.

I pointed out the error in my permanent contract hours and he is going to check with the employer's lawyers if they have to honour the contract as signed.

Any employment lawyers want to take a look and let me know where I stand?

Yes - I think they have to honour what it says in the contract.

I'm willing to pay an employment lawyer to argue this on my behalf if the employer tries to declare the contract void.

PM me your details and an estimate of your costs.

Thanks.
