No roof rack for the 6 series, I looked at this in depth recently and the closest I got to was this thing.....I decided to just cram everything inside the car.

Hmmm - i can understand why you crammed stuff inside the car
I guess you could mount something like this on the boot

It would still look crap though! The boot is also plastic, so you'd need to be careful not to damage it.

is this thread still active, just stumbled across it as one does, some interesting comments, I am on my 3rd current gen 6 series and so far so good, I am guessing most of these cars are financed so does depreciation really matter ??
Here is my last one, which was replaced with an identical like for like due to some after sales issues

very nice indeed! That's St. Pauls Square in Birmingham isnt it?Here is my last one, which was replaced with an identical like for like due to some after sales issues
Yes sure is St Pauls Square, went for a celebratory lunch after picking it up earlier that day.
Sadly just after Christmas 2016 it was vandalised where some low life put a brick through the rear screen, BMW made a right royal cock up trying to repair it to an as new standard and failed no end, ultimately, BMW GB intervened and ended up replacing the car with a new one last year, same colour but with a few more toys.

Very nice - what extra toys did you get?
Mine has heated and cooled seats which I love but whoever specced the car from new opted for some silly electric blinds AND sun protection glass and didn't add the heated steering wheel doh!
Two months in and I'm really enjoying this car. It has Pirellis on the rear which break traction far too easily in the dry, are Michelin Pilot Sport the recommended replacements??

Get Pilot Sport 4 S (NOT Plot Sport 4) if you can find them, otherwise Pilot Super Sport.Have a watch on youtube about the tyre, its amazing how much research went into them and how innovative they are.
