Anyone who suggests they have is being deliberately misled by the dealer, or misunderstanding what they've been told. BMW haven't even released the official emission figures yet, so no one knows the total cost on the road.

I've 'placed an order'. All that is is a deposit and a vague receipt (order was 'placed' in March), I got my SA3 printout with full spec and vehicle price in June.
I've gone for Portimao Blue with Kyalami Orange and Black Bicolour, but loved the Daytona Violet at FOS. As other posters have said, that adds a unknown delay to the order, and is another £4.5K. There's some comments on the M3 boards about it being a bit too loud to live with, so decided not to change. If I had gone Daytona, I'd have changed the interior to Silverstone and Black Bicolour, but that interior is a bit bland.
I originally went with the Kyalami Orange and Black Bicolour Extended Merino Leather, but saw an M3 saloon with that interior. The door cards are all black, it looks half finished and like they have the wrong door cards, so have amended my order to full leather for an extra £2K.

Wow that is different, and very interesting. Great news for you. Is that an initial allocation or annual, etc? I wonder how it works with dealers who are part of a large group? I guess they get a group allocation then decide how to split those between dealers?

Looks very nice in that colour! The Carbon Pack really looks good with the dark colour which I wasn't sure would show up as well as it does.https://webfrontend.evecp.bmw.cloud/53220fe
I didn't realise you could get the roof in the same colour as the body?
Do you mind me asking what options you went for?

I went for the Ultimate pack, so it’s all the options except the carbon ceramics. It “saves” over £1k compared to the separate packs selected individually.
