Nice, congrats! Red, manual, & bucket seats sounds a bit more hardcore than mine smile
I've gone Manual.....But been of Shall we say mature years i think I'd struggle with those bucket seats....hehe

The standard M2 seat is the same as in the New M240 which i find comfortable so ordered them with the M Colour stripes.

Any clues on delivery dates? My chap said maybe June, and I was one of the first if not the first at the dealers. I’m driving round the Alps at the end of June so fingers crossed…

Funnily enough i spoke with my dealer on Monday. I also am there first order confirmed by them,I placed my deposit at the same time i ordered the M240...! but there telling me July delivery now... The M240 was delayed three times all they say is it's out of their control so I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed....

Also been told June, and that's with being third on the list at my dealer after placing deposit last January

Interestingly I watched the speccing video recently between Joe Achilles and TLR on this car and dealer was saying they've had loads of orders but only one manual, and expect only 3-4% to come with it. I guess I can sympathise with why they're charging so much for the option!

I assume st33ly refers to the armed forces / emergency services / NHS deals offered by BMW GB.
Looks like the BMW Armed Forces Scheme was closed down a few days ago. All existing orders will be honoured. I’m waiting for an M240i xdrive which is expected mid Feb.

I’ve got the first order with my local dealer.

Been told May.

Currently auto / Brooklyn / all boxes ticked

But colour is vexing me a bit! Like the red / blue and indeed white!!

Haven’t seen any good black photos / vids

Also May sack the buckets off - just to save &£ as will likely have to be cash the way rates are…

I feel in a similar position -- still uncertain about colour and flip-flopping between red, blue and grey neighbour has an M4 in the same Brooklyn and it's really nice, contrasts really well with the black trim and alloys. Think the zandvoort might look similar and it's been growing on me since those unflattering pics were leaked last year. The Cup 2s they put in track pack also have me concerned - have read they're unsuitable in wet and cold conditions so the cost of that pack only likely to go up if having to switch them out?

Is it just 5 boring colours and black or brown interior? With a 7k option pack of you want different wheels and buckets?

Trying not to get too excited, but my dealer just supplied me with an “AG” number to check with BMW GB. I phoned them, and they seemed happy to look it up, and it’s “on order, not gone into production yet, should be April week 14 but might be sooner” woohoo

I think I might need to get an update on mine as the confirmed delivery date I received from the dealer (I'm the first order with them - deposit placed in June and spec'd the car in October) was not until 1st week in July '23 and that was what was shown on the order sheet they sent me in November. It did also show the production week had slipped from 13th March to 18th May too.

Don’t understand how you can invest millions developing a new car then launch it in such boring restricted colour options and interior. Really put me off. Is the Mexico plant that poor at producing cars it can only spray them a few colours ? Wonder how well built it will be I see some buyers in the USA aren’t that impressed with Mexico build standards ?

Not ugly but yeh not a great looker I agree you are not going to say wow that’s £70k well spent specially with very limited colour and interior choices. Taking the mickeystill some people will still pay up. Wouldn’t buy on their finance rates !

BMW build various models of the 2/3/5 series and Motor bikes all in Mexico.... In a vast variety of colours. My M240 is in 'Thundernight" I have absolutely no issues with the build quality whatsoever and looking forward to my M2 Manual in Zandvoort blue. driving

I think it's a great looker. I will go out on a limb and say design tastes are subjective. As for colours if there is one you like then what's the problem.
