That's a great deal, anyone have an idea how much more a 5 door would be with the same basic spec?

They don't seem to be quoting 5dr prices on their site so might be best to call them or enquire online using the form and write "5dr" in the additional info box. They're very quick at replying to the enquiries - I've gone back and forth a couple of times with questions already and they've amended quotes etc.

How do they make any money on that? Is it simply they expect good residuals in 24 months?

TX.

Scott from Central Vehicle leasing emailed me yesterday:

3 Door M135i (Manual) 6+23 £275 per month all in.
5 Door M135i (Manual) 6+23 £294 per month all in.

I thought it may be of some use to some here - he, and the company get my personal approval, far better than the arrogant ****'s at Freedom!!

Phenomenal...wish I could persuade my old man to do something like this! Do the monthly payments include servicing?

No Servicing/Maintenance but they do include RFL for the duration and free delivery to your door smile

To add any options you simply find the price, divide by 23 and add it on to your monthly base price.

Interesting, so best value is zero options then? Not necessarily a problem mind.

Sorry for all the questions but can you hand the car back before the lease is up assuming you're not above an average mileage of 10k pa?

I must say I'd never pay finance (paying interest on a depreciating asset etc) on a car but leasing seems to make a lot more sense, am I being irrational with that assertion?

You can, but its highly likely that you'll get spanked on fees.

If you want flexibility, a PCP is what you want really.

That's a crazy price. So how much would this be minus the options!? Care to mention where you're getting that from? Cheapest I've had is £251 per month inc VAT, 10k miles and 7p mileage excess. Pity I just can't convince my other half to go for a BMW 1-series.

These are all G2L prices. Worth noting that apparently quotes are valid for 28 days. The finance agreement is with Network who are a division of Leaseplan.

Is that 7p/mile for every mile over 10k? Or every mile you do?

7p a mile over the 20k that you are allowed to do in 2 years.

So 22k miles would have 2k of chargeable miles at 7p/mile = £140.

I am quite happy with my older 6 series but at these prices it's making me want to get one. I am trying to get a quote now, will post back what they say.

Got a quote of £269.99 for the basic spec model 5 door, never leased or had a car on finance in all my life but am very, very tempted by this deal!!
